University of Miami, College of Engineering Position Summary The Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track position at the assistant or associate levels starting in Spring 2026. Responsibilities Conduct research in data analytics, machine learning, statistics, operations research, advanced manufacturing, or human-machine interfaces (HMI). Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including developing new courses in Innovation and Entrepreneurship for senior positions. Pursue excellence in research, teaching, and service, including mentoring students and fostering an inclusive academic environment. Senior faculty are expected to play a leadership role within the department and promote interdisciplinary research throughout the University. Qualifications Earned or expected to earn a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline. Demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and service with a commitment to mentoring students. Strong record of productive and active research in the specified areas.
