Temporary Payroll Assistant | $22 - $26 Hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift
Duration: Approximately 30-60 days

Express Employment Professionals of Fargo, ND is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Payroll Assistant to support a local company's payroll team. This assignment is expected to last approximately 30-60 days and is available for an immediate start.


The primary responsibility of this role is entering payroll information into certified payroll reporting portals to help reduce a reporting backlog. This is not a payroll processing position but does require accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work efficiently with large amounts of data.


Responsibilities:

• Enter payroll information into certified payroll reporting systems and portals.
• Review data for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.
• Meet deadlines while managing a high volume of data entry.
• Assist the payroll team with other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous payroll experience or a basic understanding of payroll processes preferred.
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to learn new software and reporting systems quickly.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
