Vice President, Truck Service Support

The Vice President, Truck Service Support, Enablement & Field Support is accountable for enabling consistent, high-quality execution of Truck Service strategies across company and franchise locations.This role leads the integration of program strategy, vendor/category management, franchise performance, and field support capabilities, ensuring alignment between enterprise priorities and field-level execution.The VP drives transformation in how Truck Service delivers results-building scalable programs, strengthening field capability, and ensuring operational consistency across the network.Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Enablement StrategyDefine and lead the Truck Service enablement strategy, ensuring alignment between enterprise priorities and field executionIntegrate efforts across programs, vendor strategy, franchise support, and field execution teamsTranslate strategy into scalable frameworks, tools, and standards that drive consistent performanceEstablish governance to ensure alignment, accountability, and measurable outcomesProgram & Category IntegrationProvide strategic leadership to:Director, Tire ProgramsDirector, Parts, Oil & Labor ProgramsEnsure programs and category strategies deliver margin performance, cost optimization, and operational feasibilityEstablish enterprise alignment on pricing frameworks, program standards, and vendor strategiesDrive simplification and standardization across program offeringsFranchise Performance EnablementLead and guide the Truck Service Franchise Director, ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy and prioritiesEstablish a consistent model for franchise engagement, performance management, and capability developmentEnsure franchise partners are equipped with tools, insights, and programs to deliver brand and financial expectationsDrive alignment in operational standards, customer experience, and program adoptionField Support & Execution CapabilityOversee the Truck Service Field Support organization, including Specialist Team Leads and SpecialistsEnsure field teams optimally translate strategy into clear execution plans and measurable outcomesBuild capability in operational excellence, problem-solving, and performance managementEstablish consistent performance management, coaching, and accountability frameworks across the fieldOperational Performance & Continuous ImprovementOwn enterprise visibility into program adoption, operational consistency, and performance driversDrive continuous improvement through standardization, root cause analysis, and scalable solutionsEnsure alignment between program intent and field execution outcomesPartner with Operations leadership to identify and close performance gapsCross-Functional LeadershipPartner with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and People & CultureAlign vendor strategies, financial performance, and operational capabilitiesLead enterprise change initiatives, ensuring adoption and sustained impactInfluence senior stakeholders and align across competing prioritiesLeadership & Organizational CapabilityLead and develop a multi-layered leadership organization across:Program DirectorsFranchise leadershipField Support teamsBuild capability in program strategy, vendor management, and field executionEstablish a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and performance disciplineEnsure strong succession planning and leadership pipelineScope & ImpactEnterprise accountability for Truck Service enablement, program integration, and field execution capabilitySignificant influence on margin performance, cost structure, service consistency, and program adoptionActs as the critical link between enterprise strategy and field resultsWhat We'd Like to SeeBachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred; advanced degree a plusSignificant leadership experience in truck service, fleet maintenance, automotive, or multi-site service environmentsProven success leading enterprise functions, large cross-functional organizations, or field enablement modelsStrong commercial and financial acumen, with experience influencing margin performance and cost optimizationDemonstrated ability to lead through multiple layers of leadership and influence without direct control of operationsExperience integrating program strategy, vendor management, and field executionStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approachExcellent communication and executive presence, with ability to influence senior stakeholdersAbility to travel as required to support business prioritiesKey RelationshipsTruck Service Operations LeadershipFinance, Procurement, and Supply ChainPeople & Culture and Learning & DevelopmentFranchise LeadershipField Support TeamsWhy Join Us?
