Junior System Administrator

Junior System AdministratorRazor is looking for a Junior System Administrator to support the implementation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission-critical U.S. Government IT systems. This role supports day-to-day system administration across client/server, storage, network, and related infrastructure environments.Education & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments. A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements.Responsibilities:Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systemsManage daily configuration and operation of IT systemsProvide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolutionSupport users in accessing and utilizing IT systemsMonitor and troubleshoot client/server, storage, network, and related devicesConfigure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systemsInstall and maintain operating system softwareConfigure network components and support system integrityOptimize system operations and resource utilizationPerform system capacity analysis and planningCommunicate escalated issues and status to internal and Government stakeholdersQualifications:5+ years of System Administrator experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexityExperience administering Windows and/or UNIX/Linux environmentsExperience troubleshooting IT systems and infrastructureKnowledge of client/server, storage, and networking environmentsStrong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to support day-to-day operations in complex IT environmentsDesired Skills:Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environmentsServer and network administration experienceSystem monitoring and performance optimization experienceExperience supporting classified systemsEmployer Information: Razor is an EEO Employer.
