Talent Acquisition Assistant

Job Summary Alston & Bird LLP is recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Assistant to support its national team of HR professionals. The role will work under the Director of Human Resources and the Assistant Talent Acquisition Manager to manage end‑to‑end recruiting for professional staff positions and provide top‑echelon service to internal and external clients. Essential Duties Oversee end‑to‑end recruiting for professional staff positions. Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team, hiring leaders, and candidates to schedule interviews. Identify qualified candidates for open roles through job boards, networking, referrals, and other sourcing methods. Process candidate background screenings, including reference calls. Assist the Talent Acquisition Team with interviews, new hire paperwork, and onboarding. Conduct phone interviews as needed at the request of the T.A. team. Update recruiting tracking metrics and coordinate meetings and spaces as required. Perform additional duties as requested. Skills Needed to Be Successful Maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Positive attitude with a can‑do work ethic. Effective performance in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment. High level of attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Education & Experience 1–2 years of recruiting experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in legal or professional services environment strongly preferred.
