School Speech Language Pathologist - Donaldsonville, Louisiana

A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled speech-language pathologist certified with CCCs to make a real difference with primary school students for the current academic year. This contract role is based near Donaldsonville, LA, offering a consistent schedule of 35 hours each week. You'll be supporting children ranging from three years old through 5th grade, each presenting a unique variety of exceptionalities.

You'll provide direct therapy, conduct screenings and evaluations, and be closely involved in data collection that drives the development of purposeful, compliant IEPs. Your expertise will ensure that each student receives the individualized support they need to achieve communication and educational milestones.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Louisiana SLP license
• SLP-CCC credential required
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with primary-aged students, is highly valued
• Strong skills in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy services for students aged 3 through 5th grade with diverse needs
• Perform screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and consistent data collection to inform intervention strategies
• Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, crafting goals and tracking progress based on your findings
• Communicate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student success
