Hybrid CFO | Senior Financial Leader for Distributor

Job Description Job Description Mid size $100-150M+ annual revenue product distribution company with headquarters located in suburban Somerset County is seeking a CFO to add to their team. Existing CFO is retiring after a long tenure at the company, and ideally will smoothly transition the position over a 3-6 month timeframe. The successful candidate should have 15+ years of accounting experience preferably with 3+ as a Mid-Size company CFO, or 5+ years at the Controller level looking to step up. Prefer candidates with a CPA and public accounting foundation with good stability and limited job movement on the resume. Position will oversee a team of 6-8 including Accounting, IT, and HR in addition to being responsible for Banking / Insurance / Treasury / and Legal as well – Very hands on…..there is no real “Controller” here to assist the CFO….so will be reviewing the internal Financials and working with the outside CPA firm, etc. Must have the personality to deal with all levels of the organization including the top sales producers. Position is 4x a week in the office and 1 day remote in suburban Somerset County. Salary range $200-250K plus generous bonus target, depending on experience.
