Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, professional nursing care tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct assessments, plan, implement, document, and evaluate patient care, adjusting to changes in patient status and assignments as necessary.
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver individualized patient care.
- Develop and document care plans based on thorough assessments and diagnoses.
- Respond effectively to life-threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications, including IV therapy, with accuracy.
- Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
- BLS certification is required or must be obtained within one month of hire.
- ACLS certification is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
