Product Services Engineer

Providing remote technical support and training on Instron products, the full-time Product Services Engineer will assist both internal and external customers while collaborating with design teams to ensure product supportability and quality standards. Key responsibilities: Deliver remote technical assistance and corrective actions for customers and field service engineers on Instron equipment and software Train field service engineers on the operation and maintenance of Instron products and equipment Maintain and update technical information in shared locations, manage customer support calls, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues Required qualifications: Two or four-year technical degree in a relevant field or equivalent military/trade school training 2 to 3 years of experience in a technical area, with at least 1 year in customer relations Experience in field service, repair, or troubleshooting roles is preferred, especially for candidates with 5+ years of experience Knowledge of electro-mechanical, servo-hydraulic, and automation systems Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
