Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Wisconsin
• Experience with high school students in a cross-categorical environment preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Ability to create individualized learning plans, support inclusion, and manage diverse classroom needs
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Passion for fostering independence, academic growth, and positive behavioral support
• Organizational skills for managing records and timely documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to students with varying exceptionalities
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in alignment with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Maintain classroom routines, manage behaviors, and provide a safe learning environment
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods, assistive technologies, and modifications to meet unique student needs
• Assess progress, adjust interventions, and support transition planning as required
