Administrative Nurse Manager

Job Summary The Montefiore Administrative Nurse Manager maintains standards of nursing practice defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, and Nursing’s Social Policy Statement. The Administrator actualizes the vision, mission, values, and balanced scorecard performance measures for Montefiore Medical Center, participates in performance improvement and research activities, maintains professional practice standards and clinical expertise, and demonstrates leadership skills. The role manages all clinical administrative functions—patient care delivery, fiscal, material, and human resources—across nursing unit(s) within a Care Center on a 24‑hour basis. It creates an environment where autonomy is nurtured, encouraging a highly competent workforce capable of providing quality care. Professional interdisciplinary collaboration, communication and teamwork enable care delivery to improve health and wellness. The position upholds compliance with Montefiore Medical Center’s policies, procedures, service excellence standards and regulatory requirements. Location : City/State: , Department: Endoscopy Suite – Clinical Wakefield, Work Days: MON‑FRI, Scheduled Hours: 8 AM‑4:30 PM, Scheduled Daily Hours: 7½ HOURS Qualifications Registered Nurse, New York license & registration required. BSN degree required. GI (gastrointestinal) inpatient/outpatient and ambulatory experience required. Registered Nurse Management experience required. BLS & infection control certification required.
