The nurse also cares for patients requiring emergency care and those seeking treatment for non-urgent issues. The Emergency Nurse triages patients based on care requirements. Ongoing assessment of patient conditions is a vital task. Immediate interventions and discharge teaching are essential responsibilities. Care is provided to diverse populations, including pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The nurse must interact effectively according to each patient's intellectual level and physical ability.
