PRN PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Pharmacy Technician
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the following job duties:
- Screen prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare prescriptions: retrieve, count, pour, measure, etc.
- Perform calculations
- Perform medication reconciliation
- Use technology to help maintain accurate patient records, prepare and package medications, and place orders
- Demonstrate empathy and active listening during patient encounters
- Must have outstanding customer service skills and work well under pressure
- Clearly understand HIPPA guidelines and ensure guidelines are followed in all situations
- Strong ability to multi task

High School or better. Technical/other training or better.
