Air Permitting Specialist

Supporting a growing portfolio of energy and hybrid infrastructure projects, the full-time remote Air Permitting Specialist will manage permitting strategies and ensure environmental compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external regulatory stakeholders. Key responsibilities Perform environmental due diligence, including air permitting assessments and risk identification for project teams Prepare and submit various air permit applications and coordinate technical studies with regulatory agencies Provide ongoing air permitting and compliance support throughout all project phases, ensuring regulatory adherence Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus 2+ years of experience in air permitting, environmental compliance, or environmental consulting Familiarity with Clean Air Act regulations and experience working with regulatory agencies Experience in complex infrastructure sectors such as natural gas power generation or industrial manufacturing Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
