Landscape & Irrigation Specialist (On-Site Full Time) Tempe, AZ
A reliable, hands-on landscape professional to maintain a high-profile Class A commercial property in Tempe.
This role focuses on daily irrigation and landscape care to ensure excellent appearance and performance in the Sonoran Desert environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily site walks to monitor landscape health, irrigation performance, and overall quality
- Identify and troubleshoot plant stress, leaks, coverage issues, and maintenance needs
- Inspect, repair, and maintain drip and spray irrigation systems (emitters, heads, valves, controllers)
- Support plant care including pruning, fertilizing, weeding, and desert plant replacements
- Provide quality control and direction to landscape vendors and contractors
- Assist with site materials (rock, mulch, planting beds) and perform hands-on work as needed
- Document issues and recommend improvements for water efficiency and long-term landscape health
- Take ownership of daily landscape performance while working independently
