About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local yard and shuttle operations for our client in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. This on-site position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $29.50 per hour
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Hours: 10:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Temp to perm
• Work setting: On-site

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery; primarily yard jockey work with occasional local shuttle runs
• Freight: Shuttling trailers
• Equipment: Day cab and yard truck
• Handling: Yard jockey and shuttle operations
• Touch freight: No touch

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes and within the yard
• Shuttle trailers in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required yard jockey and shuttle handling tasks
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A license
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• No endorsements required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
