A day in the life of a Cake Decorator:
Pay Range $14.00 Hourly to $15.00 Hourly
$14-$15/hour to start | Springfield, PA A local bakery is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cake Decorator to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in creating beautiful, high-quality baked goods. A day in the life of a Cake Decorator:
- Apply frosting to Bundt cakes using the bakery's signature decorating technique.
- Create consistent, attractive frosting designs on each cake.
- Inspect cakes for quality and ensure finished products meet bakery standards.
- Maintain appropriate cake inventory and ensure displays are properly stocked.
- Keep the decorating station, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized.
- Monitor and record refrigeration temperatures as required.
- Maintain adequate supplies and communicate inventory needs.
- Work closely with the bakery team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Must be over the age of 18.
- Previous cake decorating or bakery experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency.
- Comfortable working with food and following food safety guidelines.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Must have flexible availability for daytime and weekend shifts.
- Flexible hours.
- Hourly pay increases at 30/60/90 days.
