Housekeeping

This position's primary duty is to perform an assortment of routine housekeeping tasks in a variety of properties throughout the Park City area, maintaining and promoting the Luxury Defined standard. (Uniform dress is required by this position)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide superior service, courtesy, and care to our customers (internal and external) at all times.
• Clean and prepare units for arrival including:
• Clean floors, vacuum, sweep, dust, mop, and wash, strip, wax, shampoo carpets.
• Wash windows, walls, tables, etc.
• Dust furniture, fixtures and woodwork.
• Strip and make beds.
• Clean and stock bathrooms.
• Straighten rooms, stock guest rooms with glasses, stationary, etc.
• Empty trash receptacles and pick up litter in and around buildings.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Move furniture.
• Perform some routine inspection and maintenance of electrical, heating and ventilating equipment. Perform related housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Provide personal transportation.
• Follow established health and safety procedures for using cleaning chemicals. Follow proper procedures.
• Execute standard security measures whenever entering or exiting properties.
• Report cleaning progress to inspector or housekeeping manager promptly.
• Keep a record of homes that have been cleaned.
• Report maintenance concerns, or unit needs to manager.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness at service center.
• Document daily linen usage.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

Necessary Skills and or Education

He or she will possess the skills necessary to represent Resorts West in a professional manner whenever interfacing with guests, owners, and industry peers. He or she must have a personal vehicle for travel to and from assigned property. This person must also be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to bend, lift and carry heavy objects.
