As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. 21+ Years of Age
Active Armed Guard Card/License
Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements
3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, sales floor, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe for suspicious activity, and assist with maintaining orderly operations throughout the location.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
