Job TitleThe job title is not provided in the raw HTML.Job DescriptionHelpCoordinates tasks with counterpart Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Centers and DFAS-HQ as necessary.Serve as an Action Officer to the Site providing strict oversight, research, and timely resolution for all high-level taskers, including Congressional inquiries.Management updates are produced and all inquiries are resolved in a timely accurate manner. Possesses strong project management and organizational skills to handle competing high priority tasks.Recommends improvements to enhance customer service including technological changes, telecommunications and automation requirements, and staffing and training needs.Provides research, advice and assistance on customer service inquiries; tracks all outstanding customer service inquiries. Makes recommendations involving substantive impacts on policies, procedures, systems and operations of finance functions.Prepares detailed reports and briefings of customer service operations and identifies root problems in need of further study or correction.Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact with Management Officials. Provides process improvement initiatives based on knowledge and experience with data analytic tools.Provides strategic advisory to formulate and submit recommendations involving impacts on policies, procedures, systems, and operations of financial functions.For vacancies filled at less than the full performance level of the position, duties will be developmental in nature.
