Renard's Cheese, an award-winning cheese producer, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Cheesemaker to join our team. As an Assistant Cheesemaker, you will play a crucial role in the cheese production process, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety regulations. Responsibilities Assist the Cheesemaker in all aspects of cheese production Perform cheddaring, milling, scooping, and pressing of cheese Remove cheese from press and clean equipment Adhere to sanitation procedures and policies Dress hoops and wax cheese Assist with setup for curd and string orders Follow and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices Work effectively as a team player Become familiar with HACCP Qualifications Ability to lift 50 pounds and on occasion 75 pounds Ability to stand for long periods of time, frequent walking and standing Comfortable climbing ladders, frequent bending and reaching Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities Positive attitude and willingness to follow instructions Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Company paid Life insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insurance 401(k) plan Paid vacation time after 90 days of employment Holiday Pay Employee discount and Incentive Program Wellness Program and Referral program #J-18808-Ljbffr Air Comfort, Inc
