Location 943 Automation Way Ste F,Medford, OR, 97504,United States Job Category Photolithography, Sensor Fabrication Employee Type Exempt Required Degree 4 Year Degree Description The Process Engineer I is an entry level position and is responsible for the data collection and analysis, as well as working on small MEMS based lithography projects. Process Engineer I will work with senior engineers to develop improvements in process performance, tool capacity, and product performance. This position will facilitate the completion of existing projects with guidance from senior engineers. This position will also be involved with preparing work documentation such as process travelers and standard work instructions (SWIs). Main processing areas are photolithography, etch, and thin film deposition. Responsibilities Process Engineering Aid in the development of new processes to support customer device fabrication. Work with a senior engineer on assigned customer specific projects. Assist production team in data collection and analysis for troubleshooting process issues. Work with a senior engineer to document and communicate robust processes while sharing DOE results. Support the transfer of customer device fabrication processes from engineering to production. Create proper documentation to capture process flows and adjustments to work instructions. Equipment Contact Aligners Projection Aligners Photoresist Spray and Spin coat Wet and Dry Etch LPCVD film deposition Thermal Oxidation and Anneal E-Beam and Sputter deposition PECVD deposition All Metrology equipment Quality Update SWIs as procedures change. Maintain integrity of the QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements. Requirements Bachelors Degree or 8+ years of hands‑on work experience in the industry. Quick learner and able to work competently in a high‑pressure environment. Position requires work for extended hours in cleanroom environment. Must be able to work independently and in a team‑oriented environment. Must have good interpersonal skills and computer literate.
