A premier mineral exploration operator is seeking a Junior Exploration Geologist to support an active field exploration program near Montello, Nevada. Operating within a remote camp environment, this position focuses on core processing, geotechnical data logging, and technical sampling workflows. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Process, clean, measure, and photograph incoming drill core directly from the rig to rigorous company logging standards

• Record critical geotechnical metrics into digital systems, including core recovery rates, RQD measurements, and accurate box indexing

• Execute technical field sampling projects, including soil surveys and surface sampling, to support daily site operations

• Collaborate with senior geologists to optimize core house logistics, maintain digital database accuracy, and uphold field safety protocols

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Physical capability to repeatedly lift, stack, and transport 35–50 lbs core boxes throughout multi-week field rotations

• Functional background combining physical manual work with accurate digital data entry and record-keeping

• Aptitude for remote, camp-style work environments and a commitment to strict field safety standards

• Core alignment with mineral exploration or mining operations, minimum 18 years of age
