AI Platform Engineer

To support a regulated healthcare environment, the contract AI Platform Engineer will build and configure scalable AI platforms in a remote setting, ensuring compliance and security while enabling development teams to deliver responsible AI solutions. Key responsibilities Translate AI architectures into scalable cloud solutions using infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines Implement policy-as-code and security controls to meet regulatory and enterprise standards for AI workloads Create templates and self-service tools to support developers in building AI solutions efficiently and securely Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of cloud/platform engineering experience, including 2+ years with Azure (or similar) Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security practices Working knowledge of AI/ML services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, vector databases, model APIs) Experience supporting regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, PCI)
