Vlogger (Insta360, DJI Osmo, GoPro MAX)

Role Overview

Capture high-quality, naturalistic video of everyday activities to provide real-world training data for next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role uses 360° or wide-angle action cameras to record indoor, outdoor, and vehicle environments. No AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Record diverse continuous video clips, each at least 60 seconds long, of everyday activities in indoor, outdoor, and in-vehicle settings.
• Use a compatible 360° or wide-angle camera with at least a 170° field of view and 720p resolution, maintaining a stable third-person perspective.
• Use an appropriate backpack, harness, or vehicle-mounted rig so your full body and surrounding environment remain visible throughout normal movement.
• Follow project guidance for camera placement, activity selection, and safety to support consistent, reliable data collection.
• Organize and submit video files according to technical, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally about progress, questions, and technical issues.
• Adapt to occasional changes in recording tasks, environments, or technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Video-recording skills and strong attention to detail.
• Access to a compatible camera, such as an Insta360 X3, X4, X5, or X6, DJI Osmo 360, GoPro MAX or MAX2, or another action or 360° camera meeting the 170° field-of-view and 720p minimums.
• A compatible third-person mounting setup is required. Backpack or vehicle mounts are suitable; owning one may allow earlier collection.

Camera Setup Requirements

• Mount the camera above and behind you, angled slightly downward and far enough back to keep your entire body in frame.
• Maintain a stable view of your full body and surroundings during normal movement.
• For cameras with less than 360° coverage, position the camera far enough away to capture both your full body and the surrounding environment.
• Handheld selfie sticks, chest mounts, shoulder clips, and stationary tripods do not meet the required third-person perspective.

Work Terms

• Remote, independent contractor engagement.
• Recording activities may include natural daily activities, indoor and outdoor movement, walking through different environments, and vehicle navigation or driving-related recordings.

Compensation

$20 per hour.
