Cardiovascular Scrub Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: 2 years of current and previous experience License: Active Compact or State License required Certifications: AHA BLS, NCCT or AST required Must-Have: Fresh Heart experience On call required, call will be 2 days per week, every other weekend required Float required within scope of practice Description: Cardiovascular Scrub Tech is needed for surgical services. The position requires 2 years of current and previous experience. Experience with Fresh Heart procedures is mandatory. Shifts are 8 hours long with the possibility of on-call duties. Call responsibilities will occur 2 days per week and every other weekend. The candidate must have AHA BLS and either NCCT or AST certification. Floating to other areas within the scope of practice is required. Every other weekend availability is expected. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Qualified candidates will have proficiency in various surgical procedures related to cardiovascular care.
