For more than forty years, Dynacraft has provided the company's truck manufacturing divisions and PACCAR Parts service parts division with high quality components, subassemblies and specialized services. Dynacraft's manufacturing facilities are located in Louisville, KY, and McKinney, TX.

Job Summary

The Area Manager is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of the plant in alignment with Dynacraft's vision and business goals. This role leads production operations focused on manufacturing parts supplied to truck plants across North America. The Area Manager will drive operational excellence by improving safety, quality, efficiency, and processes while leading cross-functional collaboration. This role requires a strong leader who is innovative, adaptable, and capable of developing both people and processes to support new technologies and evolving manufacturing needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with and continuous improvement of Dynacraft standards, including safety, quality, efficiency, and operational procedures
  • Lead the development and optimization of production cells, including assembly processes, layout, and standards
  • Supervise and assign work to employees based on production schedules and customer requirements
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members; provide regular feedback and performance reviews
  • Recommend disciplinary actions when necessary and support employee development
  • Provide timely updates to plant leadership on performance metrics and operational changes
  • Promote positive employee relations and engagement within the team
  • Support recruiting activities and succession planning efforts
  • Participate in leadership development and training initiatives
  • Benchmark best practices across PACCAR and external organizations
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma projects
  • Conduct root cause analysis and support quality audits
  • Complete assigned projects and special initiatives as required

Minimum five (5) years' experience

Education: Bachelor's degree (required) Master's degree (preferred) Six Sigma certification (preferred)
