Job Description A thriving healthcare system seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon in Olney, IL. About the Position Orthopedic Surgeon Location: Olney, IL Total Joint Replacement (knee and hip) experience or training is mandatory; minimally invasive training or experience preferred. Join a growing, full-service practice with a dedicated Orthopaedic Surgery APP and experienced support staff serving the Southeast Illinois region. All surgeries performed at a 25-bed Critical Access DNV accredited facility with 5 ORs serving 8 counties. Strong outpatient therapy services program with home health and "Swing Bed" inpatient rehabilitation for patients not ready to return home. Block surgical time and dedicated clinic hours at a single location. Comprehensive surgical services including General, Oncology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Urological, and Podiatric. Opportunity for research and/or academic affiliation. Must be willing to live in and actively participate in the community. Qualifications Board‑certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Mandatory experience with total joint replacement (knee and hip); proficiency in minimally invasive procedures preferred. Ability to provide both in‑office and surgical care in a small community setting. Strong communication and team‑work skills. Responsibilities Perform total joint replacement surgeries, including knee and hip procedures. Manage patient care across outpatient and inpatient settings. Coordinate with multidisciplinary team, including APPs, nurses and therapy staff. Attend dedicated clinic hours for routine evaluations and follow‑up visits. Maintain hand‑saw of clinical guidelines, provide educational sessions and participate in quality initiatives. Benefits $650,000 - $700,000 base salary, plus production and incentive bonuses.
