When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives. $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Offered (Subject to certain restrictions) Job Description Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic exams of various parts of the body, sets up equipment, and ensures proper positioning to provide best demonstration of the body part under study. Enters instructions into computers, monitors and evaluates images for accuracy and completeness of order, and makes necessary adjustments. Evaluates radiographs for image quality and completeness. Responds to patients’ physical and psychological needs, explains procedures clearly, and uses proper hand hygiene. Observes patient condition and reports changes to nurse or physician. Qualifications Vocational or technical training in Medical Radiography required; associate’s degree preferred. License MARadTech-Radiography required. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. New hires must obtain BLS certification within 30 days. 0–1 years related work experience required. New graduates may use a temporary MA Rad Tech license and are eligible for ARRT within one year of graduation. Advanced technical computer skills as required for the functional area and related systems. Proposed Schedule Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Competencies Decision Making: Ability to make decisions guided by general instructions, with recommendations for moderate‑complex problems. Knowledge: Demonstrates full working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, procedures, and policies. Team Work: Works collaboratively in small teams to improve operations. Customer Service: Provides a high level of service to patients, visitors, staff, and customers, maintaining composure in stressful situations. Age Based Competency Employees must be competent to provide patient care to the following age groups: neonatal (birth to 6 months), young adult (16–30 years), middle age (30–60 years), elderly (60+ years). Physical Nature of the Job Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of force frequently. Work is physically demanding and requires extended periods of standing and/or moving. Pay Range $37.00–$54.98 per hour. Base hourly wage; compensation may exceed the base rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime, etc. Vaccination Requirement All staff must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.
