Details Outpatient PT setting within an acute care hospital 5x8 day shift schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Some Saturday shifts required No on-call requirements Epic EMR used for charting Treats orthopedic conditions including cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical/shoulder/spinal surgery, and total hip/knee replacements Treats neurologic conditions including cognitive disorders, MS, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehab, spinal cord injury, and TBI Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience required BLS certification required Alaska PT license required if applicable Epic EMR experience required Skilled in assessment, body mechanics, home exercise programs, and patient/family education Pending license accepted Additional Information Level II Trauma, Magnet-designated facility recognized as a top hospital in Alaska 407 staffed beds Scrubs provided by facility Free parking available First-time travelers accepted Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility Returning staff eligible to return after 3 months, provided they are outside the 50-mile radius Must be willing to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All time-off requests must be submitted during the application process for consideration Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required American Traveler Job ID #P-753659.
