Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility).
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or related classroom experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of current special education practices, laws, and IEP implementation.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning styles.
• Experience with classroom technology and data-driven instructional strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement IEPs, continually monitoring student progress and modifying plans as needed.
• Provide direct instruction and targeted interventions in small group and inclusive classroom settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to support student success.
• Create a positive and structured environment that celebrates diversity and growth.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning.
