Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in mechanical design, 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and engineering documentation. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Autodesk Revit and a strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMA, material selection, and engineering standards. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems based on product and project requirements.
- Create and maintain 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using Autodesk Revit .
- Participate in model reviews, design reviews, and project milestone reviews.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project execution.
- Review engineering drawings and ensure design deliverables meet quality and technical requirements.
- Apply GD&T principles and perform tolerance stack-up analysis and fit/function verification.
- Support material selection based on strength, corrosion resistance, manufacturability, and cost.
- Apply DFMA principles to optimize designs for manufacturing and assembly.
- Create and maintain BOMs, engineering documentation, and configuration records.
- Support change management and product lifecycle activities using PLM/PDM systems.
- Provide project status updates and coordinate with engineering stakeholders.
- 7 10 years of mechanical design experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit.
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Experience with tolerance stack-up analysis and fit/function verification.
- Knowledge of DFMA principles.
- Experience with material selection and engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with BOM creation and configuration management.
- Understanding of ASME, ISO, ANSI , and standard engineering practices.
- Exposure to PLM/PDM systems and change management processes.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
