Arrow Electric is a family-owned electrical contractor serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex for over 25 years. We specialize in residential and commercial service work, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and emergency electrical services. We are looking for motivated electricians who take pride in their workmanship, customer service, and ability to solve problems in the field.
Position Summary
The Service Technician will operate a company-provided service van and independently perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and maintenance for residential and commercial customers throughout the DFW area. This position requires strong diagnostic skills, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers while representing Arrow Electric.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a company service van.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in residential and commercial facilities.
- Perform electrical repairs, upgrades, and installations in accordance with NEC requirements.
- Install and replace electrical panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, disconnects, and related equipment.
- Perform service upgrades, grounding and bonding corrections, and code compliance work.
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers.
- Prepare material lists and maintain truck inventory.
- Complete service reports, invoices, and documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in emergency and after-hours service calls as needed.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience with residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
