Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Lead

We are a discreet single-family office supporting a multi-generational family across investments, operating companies, properties, and personal affairs. The office is small, high-trust, and long-horizon. Every search is confidential. The role You will own hiring for the family office and, where needed, related entities and household/professional staff. Volume is low. Stakes are high. A bad hire is expensive; a leak is worse. You will run searches end-to-end: intake with the principal and functional leads, market mapping, discreet outreach, assessment, referencing, offer, and onboarding. You will also manage retained search firms when a seat requires them—and know when not to use them. What you will own Build and run a confidential hiring process for investment, finance, legal, operations, family services, and specialist roles Partner with the principal and team leads to define the seat before the search starts: mandate, success criteria, reporting line, comp, and non-negotiables Source quietly through networks, targeted outreach, and trusted intermediaries—not public blasting Screen for competence and discretion, temperament, and cultural fit Run structured interviews, work samples where appropriate, and deep referencing Manage compensation conversations with market context for family-office and UHNW roles Coordinate background checks, offers, and a clean, private onboarding Maintain a small, high-quality pipeline of people we may want in 12-24 months Protect every name, number, org chart, and family detail. No exceptions. Who thrives here 6-12+ years in executive search, boutique retained search, family-office / private wealth / PE / hedge fund / UHNW recruiting, or in-house TA for a principal-led firm Proven confidential searches for senior and sensitive seats Strong network across investment, finance, legal, and family-office operators—or the discipline to build one without noise Excellent judgment. You can tell the difference between a polished interviewer and someone the family can live with for a decade Direct, calm communicator. You can push back on a vague brief Absolute discretion. You will see compensation, family structure, and unannounced hires Comfort with low volume, high touch, and irregular timelines Experience managing search firms, contractors, and household/estate hiring is a plus What we offer Compensation: $180,000-$240,000 base, plus discretionary bonus.
