Physical Therapist Director

The Opportunity

A Edinburg outpatient physical therapy office is seeking a Physical Therapist Director to lead clinical services and support a strong patient care environment. This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule and an annual salary range of $90,000-$120,000 .

The Physical Therapist Director will be responsible for helping patients move through care with clear goals and steady progress. This role also includes supporting staff, maintaining documentation standards, and helping the clinic operate in an organized and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new patients and establish appropriate care plans
• Provide outpatient physical therapy treatment
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment when clinically appropriate
• Lead clinical staff and assist with daily team coordination
• Review notes, care plans, and discharge documentation
• Support clinic standards for quality care and regulatory compliance
• Help manage patient scheduling, care flow, and communication needs

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of treatment planning and clinical documentation
• Professional communication and team leadership skills
