A day in this role

You start by reviewing documented procedures, then methodically disassemble a medical pump using small hand tools. You inspect tiny electronic components, verify markings, and replace what’s needed. As you reassemble, you document each step for quality compliance, troubleshoot components when performance is off, and collaborate with teammates to hit daily output goals. Throughout the shift, you stay calm under production pressure, use sound judgment, and keep a positive, solutions-first mindset.

What you will do
  • Follow established procedures to return each pump to its original condition and ensure a high-quality finished product.
  • Troubleshoot individual pump components and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Use various hand tools safely and skillfully for assembly and disassembly.
  • Carry out limited technical steps involved in repair, production, and restocking.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately for quality and regulatory compliance.
What you bring
  • Ability to recognize small electronic parts and tell them apart by their markings.
  • Composure in a high-demand production environment; proven teamwork and cooperation.
  • Strength in reading/following written work instructions and noting any needed deviations; adept with two-handed manipulation of small parts to assemble or disassemble medical devices using hand tools.
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision and complete compliance documentation without prompting.
  • Good judgment, a positive approach, and strong personal initiative.
  • Willingness and ability to learn assembly/repair procedures and interpret drawings.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Comfort working at a fast pace to meet daily targets.
  • Ability to do basic math calculations manually.
  • Accuracy when transcribing data.
  • Proficiency reading and writing in English.
  • Visual acuity to detect particulate/foreign matter and distinguish colors in alignment with FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Preferred background

Preferred experience in mechanical or electrical repair within a manufacturing environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee:

• Must be able to sit or stand for most of the work day.

• Must have good hand to eye coordination and dexterity

• Physical Requirements: Dynamic Lifting capability: Must have the ability to lift and carry 15 pounds from floor to shoulder and lift 2 pounds from shoulder to overhead. Must also have the capability to push and pull a maximum force of 6 pounds.

Education

Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

Schedule

Full-Time — Monday–Thursday, 05:30am–04:00pm. Mandatory overtime on Fridays occasionally.
