We are excited to announce an opening for a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our dedicated and mission-oriented team at Valleywise Health Medical Center (VHMC) in Phoenix, Arizona. Our organization is a nonprofit, integrated medical group comprising over 450 healthcare providers across more than 25 specialties, serving the greater Phoenix area.

This role emphasizes a consultation-focused MFM practice , allowing physicians to provide specialized, high-level care without the responsibilities of delivery. The primary focus will be on high-risk obstetric consultations, advanced ultrasound, prenatal diagnostics, and collaborative care. Our practice is designed to promote both clinical excellence and a sustainable work-life balance.

• Provide care in both clinic and hospital settings.
• Participate in shared home call coverage for VHMC and the Arizona Perinatal Program.
• Deliver comprehensive high-risk obstetric services, including ultrasound, diagnostic testing, genetic counseling, and diabetes education.

This position offers significant opportunities for teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians through academic involvement. MFM physicians will serve as core faculty for the Creighton University integrated OB/GYN Residency and MFM Fellowship, hosted at VHMC and St. Joseph's Hospital/Dignity Health. The program accommodates 32 residents and one MFM fellow annually, fostering a vibrant learning environment.

Our practice is further enhanced by academic partnerships with institutions such as Creighton University, the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, and Arizona State University. Physicians have the chance to achieve academic ranks and teach medical students from these universities. Engagement in clinical research, quality improvement projects, and scholarly activities is encouraged, with numerous opportunities in areas like healthcare disparities and federally funded research initiatives.

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Board certification or eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
