Job Description

Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, delivering product by car, and delivering flyers and door hangers. Requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, passing a background check, and open availability. Training orientation and training provided on the job. Communication skills include the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, and train and lead. Essential functions/skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, make correct monetary change, enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, maintain cost controls, navigate adverse terrain, and read a map. Work conditions include exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees to over 90 degrees, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing includes talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work along and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions. Standing includes most tasks performed from a standing position on walking surfaces including ceramic tile "bricks" and linoleum. Walking includes short distances for short durations, delivery personnel traveling between the store and the delivery vehicle, and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location. Sitting includes paperwork completed in an office at a desk or table. Lifting includes bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more, unloading deliveries using a hand truck, lifting cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, and carrying large cans, pizza sauce, trays of pizza dough, and pizzas, sides, and beverages. Pushing includes moving trays on dollies. Climbing includes navigating stairs or climbing a ladder. Stooping/Bending includes forward bending at the pizza assembly station and at the front counter when stocking ingredients. Crouching/Squatting includes stocking shelves and cleaning low areas. Reaching includes reaching above 72", down, and forward. Hand tasks include eye-hand coordination and continuous use of hands.
