The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Fremont seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and creating shipping documents.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
• Organize and store raw materials, finished goods, and supplies in designated warehouse locations.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement departments regarding material flow and discrepancies.
• Load and unload trucks, verifying freight against shipping manifests.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
• Forklift certification with experience operating various types of forklifts.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using barcode scanning systems and handheld devices.
