Key—BlueREPORTS TO: Shift Supervisor, Dual Rate Surveillance OfficerSUPERVISES: NAJOB SUMMARY:Responsible for monitoring the casino's physical interior and exterior areas via surveillance cameras and other hidden devices as well as all Casino gaming and money-handling activities with the purpose of protecting company assets.JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES—Level 1:Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and ValuesMonitor establishment activities to ensure adherence to all state gaming regulations and company policies and proceduresObserve casino or casino hotel operations for irregular activities, such as cheating or theft by employees or patrons, using audio and video equipmentOperate a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to monitor casino activities and prepare reports and logsOperate Surveillance equipment utilized in monitoring casino gaming, money handling activities, internal and external which includes but, is not limited to monitors, switchers, digital recording, computers, and keyboards, touchpads and 2-way radiosPerform periodic checks on equipment reporting any malfunctionsObserve, and document unusual or suspicious activities occurring at the hotel and casino property, including cheating at play, or suspicious financial transactions to protect guests, employees and propertyResponsible for multi-tasking between telephone calls and radio communications traffic, collecting information and logging pertinent information utilizing surveillance software in a fast-paced environmentUtilize the computer programs for facial recognition, Table Games Management System,Black Jack Survey Voice, Econnect Visual Casino to track and identify potential threats to property assetsReport and offer solution to any area of vulnerability to potential loss to the casino internally or externallyReport any circumstances that may pose a conflict of interest or hamper the credibility of any department or employeeReport Internal Control Procedure violations as mandated by ICP'sReport all violations and suspicious behaviors to supervisors, verbally or in writingSafeguard all confidential information by maintaining department confidentialityProactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employeesAdhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical mannerJOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES—LEVEL 2:Responsible for the training and development of Surveillance Officers by providing in-house and remedial training and input to Surveillance SupervisionCoordinate with the Surveillance Supervisors and Manager to record the questionable activity for review and possible use as evidence in court Respond to surveillance supervision, management, and regulatory requestsAssist surveillance personnel in determining whether a situation warrants further observation or to notify other partiesObserve individuals' activities to gather information or compile evidenceConduct extensive investigations and compiling video for various local, state and federal law enforcement agenciesWork closely with Risk Management, Department of Public Safety, Casino Management and outside law enforcement agencies to investigate and gather all pertinent information related to criminal activity, injuries or illness claims/reportsEnter and retrieve information from computer databases in order to utilize such information for Surveillance activitiesProvides closed circuit television and personal observations of all departments and applicable job functions to assure that all company policies and procedures are met with complianceKnowledge of all casino games with an emphasis on payoffs, odds, procedures and game protectionMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED requiredOne year casino gaming surveillance experience preferredOne year casino floor experience or related surveillance/security experience preferredMust demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:Knowledge of radio etiquetteExcellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to write accurate and concise reportsProficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookKnowledge of CMS and SDSStrong interpersonal skillsProblem-solving skillsBasic math skillsAttention to detail through excellent observation skills for reporting purposesAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced
