Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary school students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. Work onsite near the Vail, AZ area, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference for a diverse caseload of approximately 68 students across three elementary campuses. This assignment specifically covers the 4th quarter of the academic year, from March 29 through May 28, 2027, providing essential therapy services and continuity of care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Credentials as a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy strongly preferred
• Ability to commit to an in-person role (remote work is not available)
• Effective collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong evaluation, documentation, and communication abilities
• Experience with diverse student populations and IEP development

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify students’ occupational therapy needs as part of the educational team
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Provide therapy services onsite at three elementary schools within the district
• Maintain accurate progress records, reports, and compliance with district requirements
• Consult with teachers and staff to support students’ functional success in the school setting
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
