Business Analyst

Business AnalystMarathon TS is looking to hire a Business Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security - Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Client ICE) in the DC Metro Area. The successful candidate will work closely with our senior analysts, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to assist in analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and contributing to the success of various projects.About the Role:Work with stakeholders to formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications.Provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist of most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business goals and objectives.Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to validate solutions against requirements.Assist in creating and maintaining documentation related to business processes, procedures, and policies.Required Skills:5+ years of related experience as a business analyst on IT projects.Experience working on ServiceNow ProjectsTeam player, versatile, displays leadership qualities, and is enthusiastic to take on new problems every day.Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.Performs work that requires practical experience and training.Performs work under the supervision of other senior analysts and the project manager.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.Strong knack for quickly learning business concepts, and challenges & strong oral, written, and presentation skills are a must.Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies is a plus.Marathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
