Work Location & Hours Location: 1105 North Central Expressway, Allen, TX 75013. Work hours: Full‑time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Requirements LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire (required) Accredited School of Practical Nursing Program (required) 1 year LVN experience (preferred) ACLS or BCLS (required upon hire) Ability to multi‑task (strongly preferred) Knowledge of basic nursing processes and understanding of healthcare technology, equipment, and supplies Knowledge of state law on nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and clinic policies and procedures Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients Demonstrate sound judgment and composure Ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations Maintain a positive, caring attitude toward staff and patients Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism Efficient time management skills Responsibilities Deliver care to patients utilizing the LVN Process Perform basic nursing care for patients by following established standards and procedures; may perform specific nursing care related to specialty of the practice Collect patient data such as vital signs and notes on patient appearance, behavior, and responses, and report this information appropriately Prepare and administer injections, perform routine tests, treat wounds, and change bandages Prepare patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices (approximately 10%) Administer certain prescribed medications and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations Convey information to patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions Participate in teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes Perform other duties as assigned Benefits 401(k) plan Paid time off (PTO) Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid parental leave Flexible spending accounts Tuition reimbursement Student loan repayment program and other benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
