Job Title: Acute Rehabilitation Physician

You will be working closely with a committed team of therapists, case managers, clinical liaisons, the unit director, and an IRF-PAI coordinator, all dedicated to your success and the delivery of exceptional patient care.

• Lead the medical operations of the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU).

• Focus exclusively on inpatient care.

• Commit to a minimum of 20 hours weekly to fulfill Medicare and regulatory standards for ARU functioning.

• Work hours may encompass both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

• Enjoy flexible scheduling options for shifts.

• Participate in on-call duties from 7 AM to 7 PM, one weekend each month.

• Must have completed a formal residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), along with a minimum of one year in a rehabilitation fellowship or equivalent training/experience, which includes a one-year hospital internship and at least two years of managing inpatient rehabilitation as part of a collaborative medical team.
