Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,836–$1,956 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 Contract duration: Weeks Shift: 3x12-hour Nights Start date: 08/17/2026 Facility/work setting: 24-bed PCU/IMC within a hospital-like setting; Level II Trauma Center; Comprehensive Stroke Center; Chest Pain Accredited; capable of managing PCI and open-heart surgery patients Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care to adults and geriatrics in a PCU/IMC setting, including continuous telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation Manage cardiac and vasoactive infusions as ordered (no titration required), monitor patient response, and adjust as per protocol Provide central and peripheral line care, administer blood products as appropriate, and ensure line safety and maintenance Conduct non-invasive airway management, including BIPAP/CPAP, IPPB, and HHF therapies, with escalation as needed Participate in rapid response and code events; assist with emergent cardioversion when indicated; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during emergencies Maintain clear, timely documentation in Epic, including assessments, interventions, and patient education; coordinate care with IV teams, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary support Requirements Active RN license in Idaho or a valid compact license for Idaho must be in hand at time of submittal Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (current) Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience; travel nurses welcomed Education: RN licensure required (no specific degree stated beyond licensure) Special competencies: Telemetry/stepdown cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, care of cardiac and vasoactive infusions, central/peripheral line care, non-invasive airway support, and rapid response participation Charting: Epic experience required Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Onboarding and orientation: core items/labs completed within 48 hours of contract signing; on-site orientation modules estimated at 24 hours for RN staff Pre-approved time off: up to 2 shifts for pre-approved leave during the contract Orientation and unit readiness support to ensure clinical competency in the PCU/IMC environment Professional environment with interdisciplinary collaboration and access to respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and transportation teams About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
