Sr. Logistician

Overview Spectrum Comm is currently sourcing for a talented Senior Logistician to provide technical logistical management at our customer site Indianhead, MD. Responsibilities Responsible for performing technical logistical management in the areas of inventory, shipping, sorting, loading/unloading, destination, material recording and delivery to customer. Disposition efforts including obtaining and maintaining ETIDS and eRMS access and screen material for proper disposition. Provide guidance to contractor’s supply technicians, material coordinators, warehouse specialists, and shipping/receiving clerks. Should have knowledge or expertise with ERP/SAP Warehouse Management. Adherence to SOPs and governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. The Senior Logistician enters data into Navy ERP for accountability; performs inventory audits and provides subsequent inventory and metrics reports They ensure attachment of tags, labels and/or markings to materials Documents all errors related to orders shipped and received and files claims with manufacturers for defective goods Monitors through completion shipping documents such as Commercial and Government Bills of Lading Qualifications Active DoD Secret Clearance Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field Related Naval or DoD Supply Chain/Logistics experience Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills Spectrum is proud of our diverse workforce and diligently committed to remaining an Equal Opportunity Employer.
