Requirements

Experience: Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting.
Licensure: Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Preferred).
Certifications: Valid Anesthesia Certification (Preferred).
Skills: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Job Description

Clinical Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings (prophylaxis), periodontal scaling, and root planing.
Diagnostics: Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos; perform oral cancer screenings and blood pressure checks.
Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, the link between oral and systemic health, and post-treatment care.
Charting: Maintain accurate and timely electronic patient records, including periodontal charting and treatment plans.
Sterilization: Ensure all instruments are sterilized and treatment rooms are disinfected according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
