Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Greenville, NC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (1900–0730) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a 25-bed telemetry unit with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation , including dysrhythmia recognition Administer and manage common medications including IVF, metoprolol, hydralazine, heparin, insulin, and related cardiac and anticoagulation therapies Operate common unit equipment including Alaris IV pumps, bladder scanners, and glucometers Float to units of the same level of care as needed Complete required dysrhythmia and basic math competency assessments during onboarding prior to start Required Qualifications Active North Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license BLS certification required Demonstrated telemetry interpretation skills Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills ACLS certification NIHSS certification Prior travel nursing experience Experience in an ED Holding Unit setting Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a structured telemetry environment caring for a diverse adult and geriatric patient population Gain experience with a high-acuity unit utilizing standardized workflows and well-established clinical protocols Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775739.
