Ultrasound Technologist Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Schedule: 3x12 Nights Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of sonography experience
- Community hospital experience required
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Compact state license must be in hand at submission
- Certifications: BLS, ARDMS
- Charting system: EPIC
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform general diagnostic ultrasounds including abdominal, pelvic, renal, and thyroid examinations.
- Conduct OB/GYN ultrasounds covering fetal anatomical surveys and 1st3rd trimester scanning.
- Execute imaging for breast, testicular/scrotal, vascular, and abdominal organ studies.
- Provide pediatric/NICU imaging and portable/ED studies as needed.
- Assist with image-guided procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and amniocentesis when necessary.
Compliance / Notes:
- Must be willing to work 3 of these 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- Orientation required: 40 hours.
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities; refusal can result in termination and/or loss of guaranteed hours.
- Additional pre-start modules (approximately 16 hours) required.
