Asphalt Operations Manager

CWR is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill an Asphalt Operations Manager position for our local operations. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise asphalt paving operations across multiple projects Manage field personnel, including foremen, operators, and labor crews Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Monitor production, schedules, and job costs to meet or exceed project goals Coordinate equipment, trucking, and material deliveries to maintain workflow Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and performance Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions in real time Collaborate with project managers on scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation Train, mentor, and develop field staff Maintain accurate daily reports, production tracking, and documentation Ability to complete all required daily, weekly, and monthly reports Must be knowledgeable on all aspects of safety, OSHA, equal employment and affirmative action programs Other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum 3+ years of experience in asphalt paving operations or road construction Proven experience supervising crews and managing field operations Strong knowledge of asphalt paving processes, equipment, and materials Understanding of DOT specifications and quality standards Ability to read and interpret plans, schedules, and job cost reports Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills High school diploma or equivalent required Must be willing to work days, nights or weekends as needed Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management systems (preferred) Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license Employer conducts drug screening and background check We offer competitive salaries and fringe benefits.
